Pixelitor is a light-weight, cross-platform raster graphics editor that features & intuitive GUI & several quality features for editing your images. It supports image filters, drawing, layers, unlimited undo, etc.
The layout of the interface includes a handy toolset located on the left side of the window. The most-used functions are easily accessible & include the following tools: move, crop, selection, brush, clone stamp, eraser, smudge, gradient, paint bucket, color picker, shapes tool, hand tool, & the zoom function.
- Layers – with the layers feature set, you can add a new layer, copy a layer, merge layers, flatten layers, & more.
- Image Filters – There are several filters available to make adjustments to your image. These include: Blur/Sharpen, Distort, Dislocate, Light, Noise, Render, Artistic, Find Edges, & Other. Each Filter includes subsets of the selected filter to enhance & refine the filter effect even more.
- Color Adjustments – Users can change the Color Balance, Hue/Saturation, Colorize their image, adjust the Color Levels, Solarize, Invert the image, Reduce Colors, & much more
- View Function – With the view feature, users can Zoom the image, Show History, Show the Navigator, view Color Variations, display the Color Palette, Hide Layers, Tools, or Hide All, Arrange Windows, & more.
